Worthington National Bank Announces New Faces and New Location
Big city banking with 90 years of small town service expanding to Colleyville
FORT WORTH, Texas – February 26, 2007 – With the motto, “We don’t just close deals, we open relationships,” Tarrant County-based Worthington National Bank is pleased to announce its expansion to Colleyville. The location will serve as a loan production office until receiving regulatory approval to operate as a branch. This location will serve as a temporary location while the bank continues its search for the property to serve as a permanent office. The temporary office will be located at 5311 Colleyville Blvd.
With this expansion comes the hiring of several new employees, with over 90 years of banking experience combined. These employees will work at the Sundance Square location while the Colleyville office is being prepared. The Board of the Bank is pleased to announce that Elsie Gunter will assume the position of President, E. George Gierisch will assume the position of Senior Vice-President, Commercial Lending and Genevieve Hale will assume the position of Vice-President of Real Estate Lending.
These announcements come shortly after the bank released its plans to expand the Sundance Square location and launched its remote capturing capabilities. Remote capturing is relatively unheard of in the local market, and few banks currently offer this product. Customers will have a toaster-size scanner that will allow them to send images of their checks to the bank. This alleviates the need to drive to the bank to make a deposit.
